About Danial

Danial Farrukh is a leadership educator, nonprofit strategist, and community builder with over a decade of experience developing youth, building institutions, and guiding grassroots Islamic work. He served four years as the National Coordinator of Young Muslims (YM), one of the most impactful youth-led organizations in North America, and currently sits on its National Vision Board. He is also a founding board member of Sabeel, a pioneering platform for young Muslim professionals in New Jersey, and a Shura member with ICNA New Jersey.

Danial has received extensive Islamic training from a number of teachers and recently completed the AMAL Murabbi Development Diploma Program under Dr. Asif Hirani. He also earned a Diploma in Islamic Literacy from the Quran Literacy Institute with Dr. Abu Zayd` and is pursuing a Master’s in Islamic Studies from the International Islamic University of Minnesota.

Danial also holds a bachelor’s degree in HR Management and IT from Rutgers University and a master’s degree in Philanthropy (Nonprofit Management) from Indiana University’s Lilly Family School of Philanthropy. With extensive experience in mentoring, strategic planning, and organizational development, Danial consults with youth groups, MSAs, nonprofits, masajid, and emerging leaders across the country. His passion lies in building resilient, spiritually grounded leadership for the Muslim ummah.
